Probably worse. I have one permission next to an old canal, much of which was filled in. One of the fields is full of large harness buckles either from the canal horses or the heavy horses used on the farm. They give some banging signals and even the iron rings give just enough to say "come on fella, you know you can't walk on by - if you do it might have been something special"

A bit of the dross from yesterday afternoon

I am a great fan of the normal Nokta pinpointer,. Very reliable and well built.

I know a lot do not like the buttons being on the top of the pointer, but I never find it an issue.

Slight down side is the couple of seconds from pressing the button to turn it on until it actually starts up. But considering how infrequently most of us need a pinpointer per session is it an issue?. I suspect most of us dig less than 30 targets a session so that is still only 1 munute extra waiting for it to start.

If I lived nearer the coast I certainly would get the Nokta pulse dive, with the coil it would be great for detecting small rock pools.

I tend to dig around 100 targets per session and use my pinpointer on almost every one especially down the hole.
Good things come to those who wait.

Well if you were around here the only way you would do that is by digging all the obvious iron and rubbish or doing 48 hour plus sessions!.
