Ok, We have finally been given the go ahead for our One Day Event!
We will be in North Wiltshire !
We will have available around 175 acres of mainly pasture but with around 40 acres of cultivated land seeded with grass. The landowner has said that the pasture fields have been regularly cultivated and re planted with grass seed every few years.
Now the great thing about this site is next door there happens to be a fantastic camp site.
It’s complete with bar, cafe and amenities.
So we have spoke to them and they would be more than happy to accommodate anyone who wishes to camp the night before so you can be ready for the next days detecting.
They will be happy to open the bar in the evening and do some food. plus prepare breakfast baps etc for us in the morning before the detecting starts.
The campsite and the detecting fields are literally next door to each other.
Now you will need to book the camping direct with the campsite and you will need to book and pay them directly yourselves.
Once you have purchased your ticket you will be given the details of the campsite so you can then book direct with them your camping pitch.
Cost for one nights camping is
£20 with no Electric
£30 with Electric
Also they have informed us that they might have some live music but it depends on how many of us are camping.
Now a few RCM Marshals will be camping including John and Gary.

detecting with be from 9am till 4.30pm
Tickets will be going up for sale next week.
