I went out on nice flat rolled fields today, should be drilled within the next week, back to my purse loss corner. I am due to drop off a coin to add to the purse loss making it 19 for the treasure case hoping the working of the soil would turn up some more. Sure enough, first signal the first penny and a few feet away and an hour later the second. All Edward pennies and another London and Canterbury to add to the haul. Found using the hedge fodder program with an x35 9", a couple of inches down.

Good going, is that, and reward for the amount of patience shown in their recovery

I'll offer puntage at Edward I class 3 for the London and Edward I/II class 10 for the Canterbury.

A lovely pair of coins :Star:

Please may I ask what makes you think it was a purse loss? With the condition of those coins and the quantities you’re on surely it must be a hoard :D
Yes I really don’t like Roman coins, I’m not joking

Because they fit so nicely in a purse!

There are 4 missing form the picture as they are still going through the treasure process and the 3 on the right will be dropped off on Thursday. The landowner thinks they may have dumped soil in the corner of the field to fill in a ditch so who knows.

How long has the treasure case been going on for, the whole 6 years?
Always carefully proof-read what you've typed to see if you've any words out.

There was the initial case but new finds get their own case linked back to the original. That's why I have them back, each time they get disclaimed but it takes about a year per batch. I got 12 back then declared another 3, got them back but declared 4, they have been delayed because of covid but I have another 3 to take in Thursday. Won't see them again for a year or so.
