Had the good fortune to find two hammered at the weekend but this one's got me stumped (well, stumpt-er than usual).

At first I thought it was London mint but now I think it's Durham, but as to the monarch...lord knows. I'm not even sure what way up the thing's supposed to be!

I've left off a scale in order to maximise the images but at 20mm diameter I think it's a penny and any info on such a sorry coin would be most appreciated :thumbsup:

I can never work out how he does this with almost bare coins....certainly a master in his trade :thumbsup:
