Bronze gilded figure looking ID and age

Found this figure today one of those signals dig or not :Thinking: did have a bit of a iron sound but enough sweetness to make me dig glad I did as looks interesting I’m thinking its Georgian but hoping it could be older anyone have any views on this it was found in pasture only 4” deep

Interesting, appears to resemble Christ on the Cross.
Let`s see what it does get Id`d as.

A christ figure was also the first thing that came to me, but then I saw the clothing and somehow that doesn't fit with the usual loincloth.

That looks medieval. It is Christ on the cross - he has no top, but the loin cloth is more skirt like in earlier depictions. Here’s a link that might help https://www.navytimes.com/news/your-nav ... criminals/
