Hi OG, I'm so glad this has happened.
All you're hear from me is "my back is killing me" I have a new permission, approx 200 acres. It was left fallow when the farmer couldn't get the crop planted in time. I now have a time constraint to get it searched before he plants up again in August. I booked last week off to try and find any hot spots and now have a sore back....back on it tomorrow though..

A few C16/17 broken buckles, a nice dainty silver buckle, a couple of silver hammered coins, several toasted copper coins and more buttons than I care to count. I've concluded the people working this land were cash poor, button rich
I'll get some photos up tomorrow

Not a bad haul at all sir. I had a blank lead seal and a modern coin for my troubles today  Oh and 3 musket balls and loads more lead

The bad back was worthwhile then 8-)

Good to see you, Andi, and welcome.

Oooh, backs? Don't talk to me about backs. I'm a martyr to mine but, strangely, it rarely stops me detecting.

Have fun, chap
