I’m sorting out some finds,,,,, finally. I found his a while ago and thought it was just a bit of furniture fitting but not too sure. It’s only a few mm thick. Copper alloy. Has evidence of a hole, but it looks like it filled.
Could this be a belt fitting?
Any ideas?
Thanks

Looks like it might have been a clasp with a broken curved bit above the circle. Book fitting?
Yes I really don’t like Roman coins, I’m not joking
