Whether you've agreed with them or not, there has always been an understandable rationale behind every step the government have taken to curb this pandemic. Until now. Making a distinction between public and private land would make more sense if it was the public land we were barred from, and I'm wondering if this farcical state of affairs is down to whoever typed it up getting mixed up in the rush to get down the pub after a long day's legislating.

I suspect they are trying to close any loop holes re visiting people's gardens when they talk about private land...

We are a mere speck of dust irritating the Government’s eye. The guidance looks to have been written to avoid anyone getting round the rules on a range of outdoor activities by businesses or others including shooting, car boot sales, golf, football and so on. It stops most of those very effectively.

For us it just doesn’t make sense but is still pretty effective in stopping the majority in our hobby. Let’s see what happens

I suspect it was briefed out by someone who’s eyesight was not fully recovered from a long drive to Barnard Castle and back :silent: :silent:

Off now to mingle with hundreds at the supermarket
