I've been rummaging about in the box of unknown finds. Any idea what this was. I think its pewter. I'm sure thats a figure whith arms open.

What a nice little find

Definitely a figure there, but I'm trying to work out if it's a skellington or not. The ribs look like bones but the bonce isn't particularly skull-like.

Looks to have been made so both sides are seen, so some sort of pendant?

Reminds me of a Bat.
Probably something different.
Cheers,
Dave.

Looks to me like the skeleton has his back to us  No idea what it is though but interesting. Just wondering if it might be religious related, broken cross perhaps

To be honest mate, I've no idea. I wonder if it may be something to do with the plague

That is the weirdest thing I’ve seen in a very long time. I absolutely love it but have no idea what it is :D

I would agree with "the-roman"
This is a religious pendant of "The risen Christ" Corpus, Romanesque

It’s certainly very unusual. My first thought was a stylised crucifix but it looks like a back view of the figure.
Spooky !

I’ve been searching all afternoon for something similar and nothing is directly comparable. However there are examples of early medieval and medieval pewter crucifixes which appear to mirror some of the style of your one. Viking examples certainly have some parallels as does this pewter one.

I really hope you can get a firmer ID though
