Copper "pin" for ID please..

Found the item below earlier today while making the most of a sunny day...

I suspect it a copper alloy of some some sort as it came up as a 22 on the Nox..I initially thought it was part of a hair pin, but on closer inspection, the tip comes to a definite point rather than being broken, so I think it's still it's full original length...

I should the darker squares on the scale are 1cm, making the item just under 2" long...

Any ideas would be most appreciated..

Just edited to add today's outing was here in Wales, on a long standing permission not far from Llanfynydd...

Thanks Folks,

There is no evidence of any design on the end, but after doing a little reading it seems that is not unusual. The field it came from has always been rather sparse with regards to finds, so that is quite welcome...

I also found the buckle below which I think might be a shoe buckle?
