And did I spy one or two of our own on the preview? One showing off her pestle? :D
On a negative note, cue the idiots making BBC headlines for thinking its OK to dig up schedule monuments :-o
Always carefully proof-read what you've typed to see if you've any words out.

Heard some rumours about a big gold stated find...I wonder if this is it?

Having seen the trailer I can imagine a great big surge of Custard Crusaders running around anywhere they feel like hacking lumps out of SAM`s etc.

Glad it`s on a Channel deep in the depths....................

I disagree. I hope we are all pleasantly surprised when it airs. Reading the second issue of The Detectorist for an interview on the programme with Henry Cole I think it’ll be OK  It starts on p21

Did anyone else think that Henry sounded like baldrick Robinson at the very start of this show?
I thought what the heck is he doing on a detecting program
Marley

As Keith said, if the conditions were different then the finds table would have been different
It was good they showed the crap that they dug, but didnt spend enough time on that table.....thats the true face of detecting, even in castle fields....
There is plenty of good stuff there, just not enough time and wrong conditions to find it.....

Was an OK show
Good to see our Cath on there too
