Evening All,
I haven’t been out much lately... but I did manage to get a collector’s cabinet to the restorers for some interesting alterations to make it more suitable for detecting finds... and I made a very short video about it if anyone is interested!

I’ll put it in the video section too. Hope all well!
Alexander

P.S I don’t live in that house by the way! Though it would be nice...

Before you need to start charging for them, you are a natural with the camera and its evident you put some effort into that production :clapping:

I enjoyed that one and I like that cabinet, you're right it is weird, but that’s why I like it, I like odd bits of furniture, I have an oak writing desk that I think was a training piece for an apprentice that was close to finishing their training, all the parts have a different kind of joint, and a lot more effort has gone into it than it needs to, that’s why I like it.

Something does confuse me though, I thought it was the law that all antique dealers had to drive Volvos....
That is not dead which can eternal lie,
And with strange aeons even death may die.

Just watched on subtitles, brilliant.
Even before it started recognised Alex Webster.
Been watching him for years firstly on Salvage Hunters and then Salvage Hunters the Restorers.
The objects he is able to bring back from a pile of firewood are fantastic.
No doubt you will be getting a super finds cabinet.
Is this going to be a future episode ?
Cheers,
Dave.
