I normally detect on pasture but my current favourite permission is a 50 acre arable field that has just been left to overgrow with weeds. It really got quite snaggy on the coil during the Summer weed bashing. So when is the optimum time for the natural weed die back? Have to admit that I've not given it a look for a couple of months though! 🤔

Not sure but weeds continuing to grow are a problem.
Going on the basis of our garden plants, perhaps a few continuous hard frosts would help.
Good Luck,

Need the weather to get colder to stop the sap rising then they’ll die back.
Just take a big rasp file to the edge of you coil, sharpen it up and it’ll cut through the weeds no problem :D :D
Always carefully proof-read what you've typed to see if you've any words out.
