Agreed Joe, i binged watched the detectorist as i didnt follow it when it first came out
And thoroughly enjoyed him as Worzel Gummidge, having grown up with the original, he did it perfect justice

I have mixed feelings about this..
The Detectorists was a really excellent bit of TV, both well acted and superbly written, and I feel that it's perhaps better to leave it there than have a disappointing "sequel"....
Getting the same "chemistry" in both the writing and the acting after this longer a gap is going to be extremely difficult, but if they do try it, I wish them every success....

Well I hope not - best to leave well alone and I think the last episode came up short of the mark.
But if they did he should consider a final scene like this:
Tuco Benedicto Pacífico Juan María Ramírez (Eli Wallach) as the PAS and Treasure act.
Blondie as all responsible detectorists.
And Angel Eyes (Lee Van Cleef) in the black hat as the anti's, especially anyone living in Poland.
And there should be an apology disclaimer as that last hole is below the plough zone

TDH could collaborate on it. We've got some good comics on here that could devise a few plots......
Always carefully proof-read what you've typed to see if you've any words out.
