Hours passed today on this site (same as the broken hammered from my last post) with hardly any signals. Apart from buttons including a livery button with a horse and bits of lead. Then I spotted a little unusual line I had never noticed. (Its a ridge and furrow, but this stood out like a pathway)Followed it and a signal of 19....First hammered. 20 feet later a 14 and sadly my stupidity snapped it. (Trowel).
10 mins later, with the temperature and sun dropping, i got a solid 18. Couldnt believe my luck  My final hunt before Christmas and 3 great presents.

Any help with ID would be greatly appreciated

Superb sir and lovely to know you’ve located a path. There could easily be more on both sides of that path too, I hope so

Great Christmas present and hope it’s an indication that you’ll have a lovely day :D
Yes I really don’t like Roman coins, I’m not joking

Awesome, as Cath says a further search will likely show more, could be a purse loss? Well done.

Well done Saki, excellent day and result :clapping:
As mentioned, look from above at the possible route of that path, it had to lead somewhere and came from somewhere
This is where eccentric research (a speciallity of mine  ) comes in

Lovely end to a bizarre year

Blimey, two hat-trickists (no such word) in a couple of days (the other was Kenleyboy).

Not sure whether to congratulate you or chastise you for being greedy

I'll congratulate you. A cracking day, and well done

It might be worth a look on Lidar to see if it extends across other fields also?

It might have been a possible purse drop maybe ? Great finds anyway .I don`t think I`ve ever had more than two in a day.
