Happy Hogmanay back to you :Party:

I wrapped 2 lumps of coal i picked up from the beach when dog walking and gave it to our grand daughters......I did get odd looks and a long Grandad booooooo
Of course i took them back as coal is expensive :lol:

I can remember eating coal out of the bunker when I was young ( 3 0r 4) and I wasnt even pregnant at that time :lol: :lol:

I first came across the tradition you describe via the memsahib. I'd never heard of it before, but it's a good one. One of the more acceptable of the habits she brought down with her, anyway :lol:
