Well, a big Hello!

Thanks for having me on board :thumbsup: and the invite :thumbsup:

A little about me

Detecting for almost 5 years now, have lots recorded in the PAS (over 500 items) allowed to self record too. I have a few permissions dotted around but have not been so active for a while, hope to start this new season when when the crops are off, and out for a recce today to see if the rape has been harvested, if not it looks like some pasture to check out some new settings and a new X35 coil for the old and trusty Deus

I see some familiar names on here already so good to be here amongst friends of a like mind , if I can help or contribute in any way let me know

The rapeseed crop is always one of those that you think is ready long before it actually is, then when it is finally cropped you have that stiff razor stubble to negotiate. Ow.

Not so young I'm afraid, I'm 40 with at least 20 years experience, must update with a picture more fitting for my years, the image is from a few years back taken at Le Club 55 in the south of France, and that's another story...lol

I read Club 55 as being like Club 18-30 ;) but as you are only 40 you’ll probably have no idea what I am referring too :lol:

Hello Steve!
believe me when i say this (and I know many others on here will agree) 40 is young. Only people under 40 think otherwise.
I look back on being 40 as practically the dawn of time. :lol:
Rape stubble is the devil. It is like trying to detect on a bed of nails...well actually more like knitting needles as it is so long. Not only that, unlike other stubble it is so random and forked (I said forked) t is hard to get between.
