Went out on Saturday, thought it was abit of can at the time but after emptying my finds bag and having a proper clean.. turns out to be this little gem, any ideas of age guys ?

That could be old, or modern. I think it is one that needs to be in the hand to be sure. Original ones of these are late medieval/ Tudor I believe. Nice find :thumbsup:

All my finds get emptied straight into a bowl when I get home, then I go through everything with a fine tooth combe just in case. I very often find the odd Roman coin in the boot of my car from falling out my finds bag so every now and then I have to clean the boot out :lol: :thumbsup:
