Had to laugh when Ralf Little (Murder in Paradise) started using a C-Scope TR-440 on tonights episode.

Watching him use it reminded me of some detectorists I've seen on rallies

I can remember my first machine in the 70's . a c scope IB [ induction balance] detector depth around 2" on large coin lol. Amazing how detector's have advanced over the years.

Not seen it but can imagine! The funniest one I have seen was a newbie guy on an Anglesey beach, I really wanted to go over and give some sound advice but watching him I just couldn't stop laughing, my missus too - it was like he was on speed swatting flies with his detector, running all over the place in desperation trying to find something! I guess we all have to start somewhere?
Good things come to those who wait.

Missed that, might need to do a bit of catch up TV!
Yes I really don’t like Roman coins, I’m not joking

To all,

The series is quite gentle in this harsh world we're experiencing at the moment.
I've watched it from the beginning and i's quite good, if predictable....
