I found this curious lead/alloy item which depicts a bust of some chap who looks a bit like Bors. It is 18mm x 15mm in size and 2mm thick overall. It was found not too far away from the 'Lead sundial?' and is of the same good quality lead alloy, so not sure if there is any time frame connection at all? I have asked my FLO for their opinion but guess that could take quite some time, so any thoughts. :?:

I have a red seal matrix somewhere in my upside down house, but it has a very similar image as this one
Once my feet are back on the ground again i'll dig it out and remember to show a pic
Is it possible that its a very crude seal matrix type thing?
Maybe of an religious origin?

It has a late 16th to 17th century vibe to the style of his togs. You know...Shakespearean to Guy Fawkes....

I’m sure I’ve seen a similar image but can’t remember who. Thinking, black skull cap, neck ruff, odd shoulder rolls, beard.
Scholar or maybe clerical ?

Ok this is a seal and yours isn’t but it has a similar style and feel about it so thought I’d share it anyway. Could it be Georgian?
Yes I really don’t like Roman coins, I’m not joking
