almost certainly junk!!!

But Just in case....! I got quite excited when I dug it the design looked really unusual and I thought it may be silver....
Its not and I'm now sure its junk ( as the field I found it on is very junk heavy!) I know I know what it is I just can't put my finger on it... (junk)
I don't know what the metal is its very dark... and it has a modern looking hole on the other side and another opposite it which think is folded over...
Please someone put me out of my misery and confirm junk!

Looks familiarly like the top off a champagne cork or similar, the wire attaches to the loops which in your case are pretty much squashed .I think its definitely "Cork orientated" though, but I could be totally way off the mark. It has been known . :lol: However methinks that still doesn`t stop it falling into the "Junk" category.
