Hello all . My local permissions are a mud bath so the only place i can detect is the woods straight out the back gate . Theres an old tip down there aswell so i had a kick about in that . Seen some nice wildlife . Half dozen deer . Sparrowhawk etc and found a few badger sets overall a nice chilled out few hours away from the madness. Found a few crusty coins which i havent pictured .

Well done on getting out March 29th for me and then woodland only.
Some nice finds, like the snuff box.
Also thanks for showing the bottles.
Cheers,
Dave.

Thats the thing with this hobby, its not always about finds....the nature you have been amongst is a stress reliever in itself
Takes you away from the madness :clapping:

I expect Kenleyboy will be along soon with some tips on your dump you have there too, interesting with the bottles etc

Good array of finds there. Never found a toy gun and would love to. Those snuff boxes get around. I had over 10 from a small area on one permission - was cursing them by the end!
Yes I really don’t like Roman coins, I’m not joking

I have a permission where these snuff tins are everywhere, hundreds of them. Each one bent in and folded over. Unfortunately you can’t ignore them, even if you know exactly what they are.
Always carefully proof-read what you've typed to see if you've any words out.

Good selection you got there,  I think the oblong bit below the snuff box is a possibly a cell from an old torch battery? or that's what it reminds me of

Always a bonus to see the wildlife to lift the spirits, the wildlife is getting busy as spring is around the corner
