Found this yesterday and thought initially it was part of a lock but now am falling on the side of a post medieval wick trimmer. Yah or nay think you?

That’s cause I spend many more hours than even you do looking at finds on various groups and I knew it was a something I’d seen before. I think I enjoy solving these mysteries almost as much as detecting
