Evening all
I've not been around much on the forums lately, no real reason, just having a rest I suppose.
Still been out digging when possible and have been finding some nice bits and bobs. Had this nice Tasciovanos unit a couple of days ago, VER for Verulamium.
Well chuffed with it, first Celt of the year :D

They are my most wanted Pete, I detect fields where ive had them for many days a year to try and find more, sometimes with results and sometimes without, but I always go back .

You may be on the Edge of Corieltavi tribe terratory TE, depending on where abouts in NYorks you are, they are the most northerly coin producing tribe but dont go much further than the Humber although there are odd finds all over Britain

Cheers Bruce, good to hear from you  Ive had a few nice bits lately, the last year has really emphasised the fact that it really is a numbers game, youve got to be in it to win it, the more times your out the more you find.
I realized this was all true when I didnt go out digging for most of the year and I didnt find anything

Try and get yourself out mate, good for the body and the mind, all the best,
Phil

When I saw the title I thought this was going to be a thread about Holzhammer's little doggie  But I should have known it'd be Phil putting up yet another cracking find. Great stuff, sir, and well done on finding something which still eludes me.

Great to see you back on these pages, fellah
