... and nice colours too!

Evening All
What a beautiful day and I don't know what I've done to deserve it, but a good streak continues... just waiting for the barren one to start now.
William III Half penny, I think - hardly any detail but a great, smooth patina - that's one to carry round with the rest of the change for a while! A George III gaming token I think - 25mm and not sure the metal its very dark - is it brass? And then a Charles II Guinea, 1684 - I hardly bothered going on after that how can you concentrate with that in your pocket!!!! And I hadn't even cleaned it before photographing...

Great day out, Alex.
Was enviously looking at the weather and thinking perfect for detecting. Don`t get many Mondays like that from late Sept to mid March, my season.
Looks like you were on the podium at all 3 events, Gold, Bronze and Silver ?
The Guinea is lovely and one of the oldest i have seen.
Certainly were rich in your area, must have been the local landowners loss.
Well done,
Dave.

I’m starting to feel very envious at the moment. That is one helluva good detecting session. Long may the golden streak continue
Yes I really don’t like Roman coins, I’m not joking
