Hi everyone new and old I do recognise some names been detecting for about just over two years now and really enjoyed the hobby and always happy to share land if there is anyone interested around south Gloucestershire who is happy to share. Member of taynton metal Detecting Club as well so done quite well since taking up the hobby you only get out what you put in. Had a special day today 8 hammies worn out with all the dancing 7 lizzies and one Philip and Mary or was it just joining this forum

7 jammies (mistake in spelling but seems to fit ;) ). Looks like there’s been some trading there in Tudor times.

That is what I call a fun day out! Welcome! Our son lives in Wotton-under-Edge but I haven't yet managed him to move from vague interest to actually detecting. He plays golf at chipping Sodbury instead, (Total wast of a good walk.)

i don't think that was a 'tester pot' i'd call that a 10 litre bucket.
