Got a busy end to the week but if I find anything nice this weekend I really will be worried I’ve signed a pact with the devil in my sleep...

Morning All,
I found this a couple of days ago... sorry for lack of scale it’s the size of a modern 10p give or take... any Queen Mary was a first for me so really pleased!

I was fortunate enough to have the cameras out for both that and a Charles II guinea I found the day before and put a video up in case anyone is interested!

All the Best
Alexander

What a great few finds on a field you said didnt really produce very much in the past
It just goes to show that you should never discount a field just because its been quiet in the past

Lovely Gold coin, and i have to say i enjoyed your calm demeanor when you found it.....refreshing to see

Your video also showed your swing style, and i have to say it looks good from the ground angle
Your coil stays low to the ground and flat, although i did notice that 'sometimes' on your extreme right part of the swing, you tend to raise the coil slightly
But a good example of a decent swing style
I walk very slowly when detecting and often over lap my swings, but thats just my ocd i expect

Great finds, great video and thanks for sharing :clapping:

Great finds this week, love the Mary groat, what great condition. I found one a couple of years ago but was very smooth , I could only just get an I'd from the legend, yours is a belter.
Well found and well saved.
Love the videos, keep putting them out.
 :clapping:

Just watched your video.
The Queen Mary and the other hammered actually look better than in the photos, really good condition.
Finding the Gold coin would elicit a near permanent grin and no doubt a glow of Ready Brek advert proportions but have always thought the Gold Dance thing to be an over the top Americanism.
Buckles always interested to see as i normally find, bits of items.
Not a dog person but your puppy is very nice , enjoyed him digging in your excavations.
Perhaps many years ago, Golden Retreivers were named because they did find the odd yellow coin.
Well done on your superb finds, Alex.
Cheers,
Dave.

Thanks BA, much appreciated!
And I totally accept your comments re the swing! I didn't know I lifted to my extreme right until I watched myself and in fact it also shows me that I swing a little too far that way in any case! ( Not sure that came out right but you know what I mean!). So, two things to work on!!
It also shows how useful filming oneself can be to show you these things - especially skiing.... terrible habits we don't know we are doing can easily be picked out from video and i'm sure the same goes for golf, shooting, fishing, tennis - whatever it may be.

So get filming yourselves - you may not look quite as fluent as you think you do!!
Thanks again and thanks to all you mod colleagues for letting me post them - much appreciated!

(P.s I also know I go a bit fast but that's just me style... once I have been on the same patch a few times I slow it all down!

Thank you very much Dave - and glad Tasci getting approval from a not particularly doggy person! Hope all well!
