Afternoon All,
Just finishing off a field I've had a bit of luck with recently and fortunately its not all Roman...
This is boggling me... on digging i thought 'nice hammered silver' and while I still think it may be hammered I have no idea what!! Its not like anything I have seen and at one point I thought it might be a fancy design on an aluminium something....
it doesn't look English put it that way.
Anyway any knowledge gratefully accepted!!

Great to see people back out in the fields again, and finding nice items :clapping:

Makes you wonder that 500 years ago someone dropped a spanish coin in your field....certainly opens the imagination for some other finds there too

I've only found one of them there coins and when I first brought it up I thought it was a button :oops: :lol:
