Afternoon All,
Just finishing off a field I've had a bit of luck with recently and fortunately its not all Roman...
This is boggling me... on digging i thought 'nice hammered silver' and while I still think it may be hammered I have no idea what!! Its not like anything I have seen and at one point I thought it might be a fancy design on an aluminium something....
it doesn't look English put it that way.
Anyway any knowledge gratefully accepted!!
Many thanks in advance
All the B
Alexander
Hammered silver.... or fancy ring pull??!!

You're certainly on a roll fella
Great to see people back out in the fields again, and finding nice items
Makes you wonder that 500 years ago someone dropped a spanish coin in your field....certainly opens the imagination for some other finds there too
Will be watching with interest

Hellfire, Alexander, will you slow down, son? Find after find after find...
Your little doggie is clearly a good great luck charm
I want him.
I've only found one of them there coins and when I first brought it up I thought it was a button

Brilliant find! Your furry detecting mate is certainly bringing good luck. Very cute pup

Yes I really don’t like Roman coins, I’m not joking
