I was starting to despair at ever seeing any medieval silver again! Yes OK I’ve had a Lizzie one a few weeks ago but she ain’t medieval so doesn’t count (still love you though Lizzie and very, very happy to see you :Luv Ya: ). Anyways I found one - a voided long cross cut half of Henry III I assume? Any more details would be great.

How I found it was interesting though. Alloverover has been talking about playing with the silencer level to help on iron infested sites. I have one area which hurts my head it’s so heavily contaminated. I’ve weedled a few round quarters and halves from the area just round the trees but the nearer the trees the harder it gets. So I ramped silencer up to 3 on the Deus (on HOT) and it calmed it down no end. A high tone revealed this little piece of silver. Nothing is deep here but the small iron masks everything unless you go super slow. Very pleased. And saving this tweak for iron infested/ tricky sites cause it’s really useful.

And, cause I’m writing this anyway, here’s a couple of buckles I found this week too :D

I've actually never found a cut half, I've found quarters and whole ones, but no half ones, I find that a bit odd to be fair, but I suppose it's just one of those things.
