Let’s just start this off with I’m a nerd and love Time Team.

So much so that I became a patreon of theirs to help bring them back. We’ve succeeded!! Yay!! Is anyone else a patreon of Time Team or is it just me on this entire forum..... 😂🤦‍♀️

I was super excited to see their online shop and what they have. Most of it is just classic pens and notepads, etc. But I’ve just had a notification about a new item....A Time Team excavation trowel!! Who doesn’t need one in their life?? 😂

It comes with a laser engraved order number so you know know how close to the front you were and how much of a true time team supporter you are. 😂

Seriously though, these look amazing. I can’t afford one, but would love to see one in action if anyone is planning on buying one. I’ll live vicariously through you. 😂😋

Just wanted to share my excitement and the sentence ‘ High tang for good knuckle clearance’ what else do you need in life?? 😂🤪

Oh my Emily, i didnt take you for a trowel nerd
A trekkie maybe, but knowing your tangs from your tongs is impressive :ugeek:

As for the price, you have to factor in that its going to be unique, plus you are helping to fund future episodes, so in reality its not too bad
At least you are getting something for your donation

I fear my Grandkids would likely bury that with me if i left it to them

Tell you what Emily, you get the Hub 100 new members and i'll buy you one

I am a Star Trek fan too. My loyalties are divided between the two. 😂 Before anyone says otherwise, Picard is the true captain. 😋

I completely agree with you, it could be great value. As you say, it’s ‘going to be unique’. I just can’t afford it. 🤷‍♀️

I would accept the offer, I just don’t know 100 people. 😂 I’ll see what I can do though. Get your wallet ready. 🤪

It appears to be just a rebranded one of these.

So £14 for the trowel + £31 for the Time Team logo!

Only £11.94 inc VAT on Past Horizons and I bet you could get Bors to do a unique handle design for you.

And £95 for a <£30 mens top. That logo is damn expensive

Hi Emily, Have seen the Patreon thing and see there will be a couple of digs going on .
Avid Time Team fan, watch repeats for specific ID`s of artifacts and also keen on landscape Archaeology.
Probably before you were born, in the days when we had Teletext, Ceefax and Oracle as an information service on our 4 Channel TV`s.
Time Team had a page where you become a member for a small annual fee and get sent updates, and have the chance to attend Filming etc.
Have all the books, including one that was signed by Phil Harding, here in Bournemouth.

Could not attend but the wife met him to have the book signed.
Somewhere i also have some behind the scenes Series reports, that were probably for the afore mentioned Time Team Club members.
Cheers,
Dave
