This was another decent bit that came after a "bit of a chat" on the Day of Cussing The Field.

It could be a removable belt mount of sorts and the "popper" rear stud gives quite a deep channel. I've marked with arrows where there is an old break, so there was more to this originally.

Not seen anything like it before, and any thoughts would be very much appreciated.

It looks kind of like a dangley bit from a sword belt fitting.

Aye, Cath - finds from BA to yesterday has cropped up on that field, with the notable exception of Celtic.
