Found this today . The field was bone dry and the finds were few and far between . Can anyone put an age to it . Done the silver test on it and it passed . Cheers . Happy hunting.

The style of lettering looks 17th century. Be good to get a photo of the reverse as it might help date. It could even be a cufflink as they look very similar. If it is 17th century it would make it treasure

This cufflink has a reasonably similar style of engraving and is attributed to the 18th century. https://finds.org.uk/database/artefacts ... /id/505055

I`d say It has a Charles 1st or 2nd look about the engraving.
