The target was 39 at top of the shop on the Nox, it sounded so bad that it just had to be dug, but I really wasn't expecting to find a 1960's air pistol! I bet some kid was pretty peeved to lose it!

Maybe not the best look having a Colt 45 look alike sticking out of your finds pouch! :?

I've seen the restoration type videos on youtube, where some chap takes a totally trashed object - normally motors or pumps and rebuilds it. You could do a similar time lapse video to get this back in to pristine working condition.
Agree, best not get seen waving this around near crowded places :D

I’d have just thought it was a shot gun  Very glad it wasn’t! Cool find
Yes I really don’t like Roman coins, I’m not joking

At first glance I thought it was a real gun until closer examination. :o

Brings back memories of using one in the garden. They had a pull-back slide on the back to re-load but far from accurate. Amazing what turns up.

Looks like it was stripped of parts before it was lost now you`ve shown a more clear picture. Probably given to some kid to go and play cops n robbers with. :D

Reminds me of the Webley Tempest .22 i used to have as a kid, after using an air rifle became too easy on targets.
Childhood memories.
Cheers,
Dave.
