Finally got to detect with Kevin today, good to see you again.
We were out on a small club dig in Berkshire , 2 fields one ploughed the other half ploughed with the rest in well rotted stubble, sandy soil.
Good mix of finds coming up, including an enameled fibula brooch, I managed 2 buckles, a watch winder and a well worn George II half penny.

Looking forward to seeing you again Kevin

Lovely buckles Bob. Has the one on the right coated in black enamel? Looks like it and those ones often are :D
Yes I really don’t like Roman coins, I’m not joking

At one time I did well for Buckles but My luck the last year or so has left me with next to none I`ve found. They just seem to have dried up. :(

I like finding buckles and buttons - shows people were active in the area - your buckles look fancy, therefore fancy loses to be found
Always carefully proof-read what you've typed to see if you've any words out.
