My find of the day was the medieval swinging harness mount complete with backplate,proberbly 14th century, must of made a fair old clatter with a few of these mounted on a horse when it was galloping toward you to chop your head off, as if the hooved wouldnt of been load enough
Quite a few coins and tokens but none silver today, an interesting Norwich castle token ive not been able to ID as yet, a lot of digging was done, I think I racked up 7 hours or as good as with only one quick refreshment stop, dont think I will get a chance next week as work is rearing its ugly head, maybe at the weekend if i'm a good boy
