"Mount" For ID???

I found this fairly shallow on pasture with the Nox and as you might guess it gave a screaming signal of 32, so much so I was expecting a bit of farm chain...

I assume it is a harness mount of some sort, dating from perhpas the 1700's? Does that seem reasonable?? I am rescind the lettering as "E L B" ??

As usual, any and all input most gratefully received..

19/20th century blinker or saddle mount. :thumbsup:

Thanks mate..was hoping it was a bit older as the field produces quite a few toasted George 1st pennies, but I will take that...
