They are building a new track through one of my favourite fields so it’d be rude not to check the spoil wouldn’t it
Lots of musket balls, tonnes of pottery and this cut half. Presuming a Henry III?

On one of my permissions, the landowner dug out the ditch that separated the church from the Manor House. I was excited to run the coil over that spoil heal. The excitement didn't last long. I gave up after an hour, it was full of modern rubbish. Luckily, he banked it all up against the hedgerow and didn't scatter it.

Always carefully proof-read what you've typed to see if you've any words out.
