Out today and good job there was a nice wind to keep the heat off. following the plough this morning but nothing of note turned up. so I decided to go and have a look at some other fields to see what condition they were in. bit of a hike from the rough ploughed field but found a field ready to be seeded. flat as a pancake. not much going on at first but I did notice a darker patch right in the far corner, so headed for that. seems it was a good choice as these Romans came up. shame they are in such bad condition, but can't complain. will head back there once the crops are out and when it's wet I think

Always good to see Romans.
Good to see the Sestertius in the group, shows off how large they are.
Certainly lived up to your moniker on this session.
Cheers,
Dave.
