Hi again all. as detecting has been sadly off the radar for so so long now ive been looking more in depth and gently cleaning some past finds.
This La Tene brooch appears to have a slight wash on it when its damp. Im wondering if the iron age brooches may have been as highly decorated as some of the Roman brooches were? And anyones thoughts on this or similar finds made?

It does look like it has a gold wash but never seen that before. Really interesting if it does because I doubt that’s common.
Yes I really don’t like Roman coins, I’m not joking
