This means all three of us are now exactly the same in terms of our roles, and visually. This is how it should always have been really as that’s how we work anyway. John is a really important part of this team and so we wanted you all to think of him as an equal and felt the colour/ rank thing was getting in the way.
So will you notice any difference? No. It just means John can now see a few more buttons, look at more info and authorise new members. He’ll soon get bored of the novelty
On a personal note I want to say Bruce and I really value John’s contribution to this forum and we love him being part of this team. One thing the three of us have never, ever done here is have a cross word or argument or anything but a lovely calm and relaxed time managing this place. John is an absolute pleasure to work with and someone we both trust implicitly (despite his questionable penchant for violence towards his staff
)So congratulations John and thank the lord you gave us a good excuse to ditch the orange colour on our names
