Hey, little fellah! Ye gods, no wonder you couldn't resist the little blighter, Val, he's a little darlin and seemingly got some smarts about him, too :Luv Ya: :Luv Ya: :Luv Ya:

He's a lucky chap to have found what's clearly going to be a loving home and I hope you all have many happy years together

As Schnauzers go he’s not bad. They’re not the most prepossessing puppies but when they’re older and got nice eyebrows & beards/ whiskers they really catch your eye.
That made me laugh. He’s beautiful just as he is now, he’ll just get heartbreakingly more handsome as he gets older 8-)
Yes I really don’t like Roman coins, I’m not joking

You can rely on that John. 🥰🥰😂
Although I completely understand your reasons, I’m sad that you’re giving up detecting (at least for a little while) if you’re ever in Oxfordshire, I’d be delighted for you to come out and join me, even if you don’t want to physically detect yourself, you can still be in the thick of digging up cans. 😂☺️
Live long and prospect

Thankyou Emily for the thought. They say never say never so you never know. Now there’s a contradiction !
Time & tide catch up with us all and the last 12 months seem to have caught up with me.
I neither have the energy or confidence to go wandering around fields anymore.
Detecting has been a unique experience that I shall always be glad I had. I’ve got some wonderful memories, both good and bad. Plus I can say ‘I’ve been there & done that’.
Now I’ll take pleasure, as long as I can, from my garden and my lovely 4 legged pals and just enjoy having a nice walk with them.
Not detecting (AGAIN) but I’ll attach a pic of part of my garden so you can see the results of my efforts.
