Could fund something new for you.
They may still do but I'll give the owner chance to take whatever they want first.

I'm in awe Easy. Nice thread. ๐Ÿ™‚
I'd love to have a go at this myself.
I would definitely try and take everything and sell as much as I can. ๐Ÿ˜

There were only about three of very thin glass that I broke before even seeing them. The deeper they are the more compacted the ground is around them so need care but the rest came free easily enough often just tumbling out of the wall with the soil.

Having spoken to the owner it looks like the pit will just stay as is until I get around to doing some more sometime but that won't be for quite a while now. I'm curious to see how big that brick floor actually is but not too bothered about it's purpose, though it may become more apparent? Well if the owner doesn't want the bottles then I will take them and either sell some or create a feature out of them. A sure future mission will be to find the earlier pit/s though fortunately there are no time limits! I'm struggling even for time to go detecting now but will of course have to make some before the pasture dries out! :D

How interesting?? Maybe it leads to Narnia!! ๐Ÿ˜ฒ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Iโ€™d definitely take some decorated bottles if you do end up collecting them all up. ๐Ÿ˜ƒ
