Chap got in touch with the Club. "Fancy teaching a group of scouts about detecting?"

Never one to say no I agreed as he is providing the land.

It is in an area where tracking down the owners is almost impossible as most of the land is "land banked" in the Cayman Islands!

Luckily Scout Chap knows owner and is a farmer himself so has sorted the permission. :D

So, wish us luck, a dozen brave souls are tutoring the next generation of detectorists! :?

We get away with "more than 6" because its being organised by the Scouts and is educational.

I`ll report back if we survive..............

Any education has to be a good thing, John, and best of luck with it

What umbrella does the "education" fall under, by the way - History?

Don't dwell on the tech side too much else they will fall asleep, get on with the signals and digging, that will peak their interest :ugeek:
