They're more commonly sold as cupboard bump stops.

Your never gonna believe this Ian but , the moment I put that up , I swear down, I thought " I bet Ian comes in and says " oh you can buy it cheaper here". I know you by now .
You see The costs not going to bother me Ian. I got them and thats all that mattered. I`m sure if we searched hard enough, we could find them selling for a pound somewhere. Its really not an issue to me., I was just thinking of others and not just myself by putting it up .But...... hey ho .

There’s always a cheaper buy somewhere, you are right Bors :Luv Ya:

I use these on my Deus remote cause the buttons are hard work to press with a cover on and gloves. Please be careful with them though as they can, I believe, put strain on the switch so don’t press too hard
Yes I really don’t like Roman coins, I’m not joking

What's the idea behind them Pete? Do they just make the buttons easier to push, or do they provide a degree of protection as well?

They are just a standard furniture product that someone is making out are for a specific detector and so have hyped the price. My link just informs others of that and gives an alternative choice. Glad you got what you wanted, that's the main thing.

It seems that some people find buttons on certain detectors difficult to press. I guess that these raise the buttons making them easier to locate and also prevent surface wear. Horses for courses!
