I've also stopped for lunch. Little roman bronze for me, I'll stick a pic up later once I call it a day.

Where are you Jamesy - keep an eye out for a short fat bloke with glasses, black trousers and green and blue rugby top.

Right now I'm in my tent waiting for my army coffee to cool down.

I'll keep an eye out, today I'm wearing dark blue work trousers, a mid blue plain t shirt and I'm always wearing a green Swedish army cap, otherwise my head gets sunburnt!

Today I'm using the nox, and an all stainless evolution spade, but the easiest way to identify me is the tattoo on my left forearm.

Didn't find any silver, so no jellybeans for me.

Here's my little roman, not a type I've found before so I would be interested if anyone can give me a clue as to what it is.

Also found something that I initially thought was a watch winder, but it doesn't look right, so I'll post a picture when my signal will allow and see if anyone has any ideas.

It's not is it? I have previously only found three Romans and nothing Saxon, I think the saxon stuff hides from me as my ancestors arrived with the Normans...

That’s me done for the day, shame we didn’t bump into each other Jamsey.
Good luck - get yourself up to field 17, apparently a few nice things came up late today.
