I rarely find hammered coins, but today I winkled two of them on a new permission. They were both shallow in the stony ground, only 3 or 4 inches on arable. I even found a rather sad looking Roman Trumpet Brooch, amongst the scattering of Moo Tubes.

I'm probably wrong, but does the cut half say Henry? I'm not even sure if I've got the photo the right way up.

Any help with ID's very much appreciated as I'm useless with these.

The cut half is, I think, an Irish Henry III like this one https://oldcurrencyexchange.com/irish-coins/

Great finds!

Go for the card ones - easy to store, cheap and simple way to get all the info to stay with them whilst providing at least reasonable protection. And you can put them in whatever order you like as you add to your collection.
Mine are on strict chronological order cause I’m a bit sad
