Morning All,
Sorry to have been a bit quiet recently; hope you are all well!
I have been scratching round the West Country for a few weeks ( great fun HARD work!) but now back on my own patch where I found a nice wee Roman ( one of the girls) - sorry for lack of scale it is a very small one! And a hammered penny.... Any help on either or both would be much appreciated!
I am hopefully getting a video out later and will of course give the Hub a push!
Many thanks in advance and all the B,
Alexander
hammered and roman for ID please

I's have a guess at Theodora, but wait to be corrected by the Roman

Always carefully proof-read what you've typed to see if you've any words out.

My guess for the hammered would be Edward 1st Cantrrbury mint Class 10cf3a Spink 1412 - but I'll probably be miles away - I await to be corrected by Allectus

Always good to see another Roman unearthed , Alex.
Did find a couple of Theodoras but not in as good a condition as yours and also with different reverses, which were heavily worn.
Also well done on your Hammered.
Cheers,
Dave.

Good call on the Hammered! Well, Allectus thinks you got it right and who would argue??!! Hope all well! As I said to shaggy, we were one wife out on the Roman which explains why I couldn't find that reverse on a Theodora coin....( At least!) Hope all well!
