Has anybody heard any details about this rally?.

Last I heard was when I payed a couple of months ago -
"Thank you for your BACS payment for 18th and 19th September Anton Rotary Detecting rally including camping on Friday and Saturday night.
Your name has been added to the list of those attending and I will send further information in due course. "

I thought we normally had the details more than a week ahead of the event.

Nothing either, although on a previous one, think the details were emailed through in the week of the rally..
Cheers,

I can’t go now as I’m on a course all weekend. I booked it not realising it clashed  . Hope you all have a great time finding Roman stuff so you are happy and I’m not kicking myself ;)

I really am sorry not to go though. I’d love to have met up with you all :(

Thanks to those that said they had not had one early, it was nice to know I had not been missed.

Like Bob I e-mail early this afternoon (actually 2, 1 Red the rally and one re camping on Friday).
Nice to know its just by a pub.

If anybody has not booked and seen spaces are still available and are thinking "its cheap compared with most, so probably not worth it". The fact it is "cheap" is because its all done by volunteers and nobody is taking a cut so reduced overheads, and ALL the money goes to good causes. Obviously nobody has control over what is found but it is a nice friendly well organised rally.

Cath needs to sort her priorities out as she had booked then found she had double booked events for that weekend so now not going.
