Ridge and furrow hammered

Went out for a short session this evening hoping maybe for a milled silver as have had a couple of this ridge and furrow before so was well surprised when this Elizabeth sixpence popped out I think it’s spinks 2563 stand to be corrected don’t you just love this hobby for the surprises you have :thumbsup:

That’s a lovely one. Many of us find ridge and furrow a bit lacking in good finds but you’ve just proved that one wrong! Very nice.

Very nice, Paint. Do like an Elizabeth tanner, which was my first hammered but I've not had one since. They seem to be quite common as people's first, too - well, more common than you'd think.
