Been a detectorist for around 3 years or so and loving it.
Started out with a T2 which is now a backup machine, and now swing an XP Deus which I've just about got the hang of.
My permission is a 600 acre arable and pasture farm which keeps me busy throughout the year

Aye up Dale and welcome, it sounds like you have the best of both worlds with that permission. Feel free to post up some finds.

alright fella, welcome to the Hub.
I have family over that way. Pidley, Houghton, St Ives and Sawtry - lovely part of the world. Unfortunately, none of them are farmers or land owners :(

I do a fair bit of piking on the local drains so I'm familiar with Ramsey.
I'm in Farcet

Sawtry isn't too far away from me, and it's a long story but I had to go to Pidley to get a special licence to get married during lockdown.

Certainly do in Pidley, but only if they want to marry outside of their immediate familiy
